UK Residual Waste Indices – TEST

Coming May/June 2026

The Refynix UK Residual Waste Spot Gate Fee Index will benchmark spot gate fees charged by energy-from-waste operators in the United Kingdom.

The Refynix UK RDF Export Price Index will benchmark the ex-works collected price per tonne charged by RDF exporters to UK waste producers for collection and export of refuse-derived fuel.

Together the Indices will provide the market with a transparent, consistent monthly measure of where spot fees and export prices are trading, published on a fixed schedule as a quartile range – lower quartile, upper quartile, and a headline midpoint figure – derived from submissions across a panel of contributing operators.

Methodology

The Indices are compiled from monthly submissions by a panel of UK energy-from-waste operators, supply customers and RDF exporters. Data is aggregated and anonymised before publication. Publication is subject to a minimum of five independent contributors per reporting category.

Contribute to the Indices

The Indices are only as robust as the panel behind them. Operators, supply customers and exporters who contribute each month will receive a private monthly Contributor Report showing their position relative to the market before the public index is released.

There is no cost to participate. All data is treated in strict confidence and governed by the Refynix Data Contributor Confidentiality Agreement.
